Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance found in small amounts in meat and seafood and also made in the body. It helps produce energy in cells and works as an antioxidant. Low levels are linked with conditions like heart failure, high blood pressure, Parkinson’s disease, and HIV.

Uses & Effectiveness:

Likely effective: CoQ10 deficiency, mitochondrial myopathies.

Possibly effective: Heart failure, diabetic nerve pain, fibromyalgia, migraine prevention, multiple sclerosis (fatigue), muscular dystrophy, heart attack recovery, Peyronie disease.
